Left steering column stalk issues

When I use my blinkers or high beams, they are slow to respond to my input on the stalk. So, in other words, when pull back on the stalk to flash the high beams there is a delay before they come on....

From what I've read, this is not coolant temperature. This is the engine core temperature. You'll notice that your coolant dummy gauge gets up to operating temperature way before the OBC reads...

I think those are pretty much all the oe options, but you'll get a better price with those part numbers on getbmwparts.com. I'm sure racing dynamics, AC schnitzer, hamann, and hartge all have them.

Can anyone take a picture (or if there is a diagram) of how the front headlight adjustment sensor is mounted? I took mine off and now my headlights seem to be aiming a bit high. I have an '01 540i.

Does anyone know where the shift park sensor is, or how it works. I can shift from park without stepping on the brake and therefore I can't get the key out because the car thinks its not in park.

I don't know if the 97's had the immobilizer, but if they did, it will be virtually impossible to start the car without a correctly coded key.

Take the belt off and see if the pulley spins. My alternator had the same symptoms at a gas station a mile from my house. I immediately drove home. It seized in my driveway!
