You need to start a command-line window (cmd.exe) and the navigate to the directory where the tool is located and then type fsc.exe

Are you clicking the "Code" button instead of the "Code FDL" button?

"Code" codes the defaults based on the FA and ignores any FDL edits you made.

You should be able to feed the .fsc file to the generator directly.

True, but slightly older psdzdata shouldn't cause connection issues or problems reading the ECU list.

It's only mainly an issue when reading the coding data; you will get "file not found" errors...

I didn't do it via FDL coding.

I removed 8S4 from the FA and VO coded FEM_BODY.

Worked just fine.
