Persistent Fuel Evaporation Valve code needs to go away...

So I've been getting a SES pretty frequently and when I pulled codes using Carly for BMW it returns 002A19 - Fuel Evaporation Valve fault.

I didn't see any other 6er owners complaining of this...

I agree with Herb on the alternator. You probably have oil getting on the alternator from the gasket that was cleverly designed right behind the alternator bracket. It fails at your vehicles age...
