You have to remove the oxygen sensor, there's no other way I could see otherwise. Have no fear- just unscrew it and set it aside. Protect it with a plastic bag or something from the coolant spills....

Thank you Dennis. I replaced them with 20" style 87 staggered. What a dramatic difference! My X5 now looks much more aggressive and sporty.

Saw a few more pics of 132 on E39- they're actually not...
