Any s/w you find may only work with Win XP. This will require installing a virtual machine on your laptop.

Also, make sure the mount for the sensor is not damaged, and hanging down. It's in a pocket near the right front side, on the underside of the "bumper."

The temp gauge does not reflect actual temp until it gets REALLY HOT! Actual coolant temp is read via test 7 of the cluster, after you unlock it.

Luckily, the V8 can withstand overheating a little...
