Kidding aside, I think if your suspension is in good condition to start, there shouldn't be many issues...

S4, the interior, sport diff and B&O sound were nice additions by Audi. I believe the one bad weak spot on the Audi was the plastic water pump housing and I'm sure there are aftermarket aluminum...

I'm not sure, US E9xM3 have charcoal lined air filters from '08-09, and the models subsequent don't have such a feature, although it's such a sparse lining, it wouldn't hurt performance.

it makes no difference in sound or power, if it's removed, and it's one unit, so if you need to replace it, you may be looking at the entire airbox.
