Sounds like your tcc valve is sticking as a "guess". Getting the codes pulled helps to figure out exactly what it is.

Did a quick google for prices on rebuilt and ready to install valvebodies for your car. $450

The kits are much cheaper than that and a real shop will do the rebuild in place of ordering one...

Mine likes the factory fill. Ran into similar problems when I tried redline fluid in it. So it gets texaco when I change it. Cost more but it works flawless.
