Mine had a broken spring in the rear also, the cup kit took care of that tho. I see it 2-3 times a year on different kinds of cars.

It is pretty quiet, sounds great inside the car with the headers tho. I'm hoping it should get louder with age, but It really doesn't bother me that much cuz it's purdy.
