My passages seat did the same, few taps and the seat motor sounded just wrong, I ended up taking it apart, the vain that spins ate into the outer portion, time for a new motor!

I spoke with a body shop my friends and I have done a lot of business with, they'll do it for the 2,500, about 450 less then the show the dealer got a quote from! So we'll see how that goes!
