Yes I had it done at the dealer ... Actually I had the whole car updated , cost around. 200 /250 . You can do just the transmission for about half the cost .

I've heard that you can remove the exhaust...

I've heard that you can remove the exhaust manifolds , then you can get to the ports from underneath to clean'em out .

The belt strands can also wrap around the water...

The belt strands can also wrap around the water pump shaft and waste the seal , and dump all the coolant . It happened to me .
