I bought the car with an aftermarket short...

I bought the car with an aftermarket short shifter installed has been notchy and i dont like it.

I have used lightweight shockproof since i can remember. It is not for racing applications only....

When you open the driver door look down on the the bottom of the b pillar. There will be a sideways placard with the BMW logo and your vin on it. On there will also be the production month and year....

If that is the only code showing up then I would venture to say cyl 2 coil is shot or maybe even just a bad boot. Pop it off and investigate it.

All I know is when it is raining outside i have way too much fun with my 540i/6. In dire need of a M5 rear diff though! Getting sideways is easy on most turns but the lsd would make things easier.
