OK, that makes more sense. Unpaid tolls can accrue to a large amount and I'm guessing would ultimately be the responsibility of the registered owner (BMWNA, in the case of a lease).

I'm not familiar with the calculator you're using, but it's labeled as "# Extra Security Deposits", so maybe it's assuming the initial isn't waived, then adding 7 on top of that. 8 x $700 = $5,600.

That's why I avoid the ACC option. Understandably, they can't allow too small a following distance and risk an accident. Maybe a useful feature in very light rural traffic, but that's it.
