Clutch and Flywheel replacement, BMW dealer...$3400 :(

My 2003 M3 SMG is in their shop now broke down.

They want $1100 for a OEM flywheel, $560 for a OEM clutch and $200 for a position sensor....and 10 hours for $120 a hour. $3400 including tax.

Oh, your alternator or battery might be hosed. The clicking that you heard was the starter solenoid. It didnt have enough voltage to engage, so it clicks.

Use a volt meter and measure the voltage...
