Your H&R kit came with two front springs and two rear links. There are no springs to replace in the back just those two links. They fool the ride height sensors into lowering the rear of the vehicle....

Any wheel or tire combo in the OEM sizes (17" or 18") is fine. This should be fine for what you want and quite a bit better than the all season stuff.

The similar times most likely have to do with the gearing of the 4.6 vs. 4.8. The 4.6 has a 5 speed auto and the 4.8 has a 6 speed, which most likely has more aggressive gear ratios in the few gears....

If you were starting at the buying level and didn't have a 4.4 already, then I would say yes, it is worth it. Since you already have a 4.4, the financial hit you would take at trade in would be large.
