I just had the recall work done on my 2011 N52.

Result? Two bolts broken. Dealer had to disassemble engine until all the 'missing' parts were found/recovered....

If not, try jumping or charging before tearing the trim...

Actually, you just need to pull back the fender liner to get to the two screws that hold the bumper to the fender - no need to pull the wheels in this case.

I would call another dealer to check on the B+ cable. Your dealer may be right, but I can't think of a reason that BMW would use a different cable/connection in a gas & diesel car.
