I have an Icarsoft which did nothing for me when it comes to ABS codes, it always give me some fancy bogus like yours ABS 60 blah blah.. Then I took some risk and bought the Creator C110 for 60 bucks...

Go to Ebay and search for Creator C110 BMW scanner, this little hand held is the best thing...

But first, I think you should try to reset your O2 adaptive circuit...

The ABS module on the early models are very stout and doesn't have any issue with heat like the latter ones.

I would suggest you borrow someone ABS reader and get the codes read, it's so damn easy...
