That's a GREAT idea! Just not sure how long will it last. The bumping ride can loosen the screw. For now, I use thick rubber band.

He hammered the axle to get it out but I worry he might damage the gear contacting with the bearing

Mechanic tried to remove the rear output axle to replace the hub and bearing. After hammering, heating, he cannot remove 1 bolt connecting to the differential and cannot separate shaft from bearing....

broken socket in rear light bulb panel

The socket contact for the brake light on the rear metal electrical panel broke for a long time so the Rear Right brake light isn't contacting very well even with string/plastic clip fastened....
