Outside Temperature Gauge

I seem to have a problem with this. (Already replaced Final Stage Unit) When driving in wet weather, running over a deep water puddle, I get a ""ding" "Outside Termperature....." then my A/C is not...

My car's alternator went out within 2 weeks of installing the Final Stage unit. Same week, my A/C stops blowing cold air. Is this a coincidence?

I've got good air coming out, I can control it high to low without problem - even when I'm not moving. Problem is air is not cold. I will have to try the freon pressure check.
