So I should try on-car cleaning using a product like Kleen-Flo TKO 2000 and if I still get lean misfires and sluggish performance I should try off-car.

Title says it all. At almost 170K Kms I'm thinking the injectors and valves should be pretty carbon'd up. Is it ok to do an injector cleaner on our cars and if so which one do you recommend?

Why not just add a resonator? It won't impede airflow but will provide baffles for some noise reduction...

The M5 in stock form uses the same exhaust manifold as the 540i. To do this BMW must have found out that the manifold flows very well for the bigger...
