I have never heard of swapping a manual with an auto..normally its the other way around. Have you checked the subframe mounting points on your car? You might want to check that first before dumping...

Yep. Putting the top up/down amazes the kids as it looks like the car is a transformer robot. The convertible is a mid-life kinda thing for me I guess. The car is fairly new, just broke 23K miles....

I dont think its RTV. If you have oil ONLY on the plug threads then that could be a leak on the valve cover gasket (oil is getting into the plug holes).

Now if you also have oil on the actual tip...
