Do you hear it? If not relay or pump could be bad.

Not the first, nor last time it is wrong. Any coolant i have bought has said a 5= year on the bottle, or if i got some at a dealer like BMW, 7 years or 100K IIRC

Pull on the gas pedal, the odd linkage at the top of mine binds and causes the RPMS to jump up and stay. Worth a shot, i agree this is mechanical, slight possibility electrical.

It is an immobilizer in your car, if it is not in the fuse box, thats why it is "hidden"
