Tow Bar Electrics

I fitted relays to the wires feeding my tow bar socket.
The car only triggers the relay with 1/40 of the power used by a park light globe. Power to the relays is from a fused permanent source....

I had trans problems and had the codes read with a Snap-On reader. Cam up as the 2/4 clutch pack in my case. I ended up just changing the trans over with my spare.
My point is that a good code...

Master Key vs Valet key. You need the Master. If the key you have locks the glove box OK then either the boot lock has been changed or needs lube or the glove box lock has been 'worked on'.

You can 'renew' the canister by blowing low...

You can 'renew' the canister by blowing low pressure air through it unitil the fule smell from it (if any has gone). Not the longest term fix but OK for a while and a no cost test proceedure..

A GOOD scanner will tell you why the Trans Fail waring is comming up. Mine was 2/4 clutch failure. Replace the g'box all good.

I would go back to the electrical part of the ign switch being defective. Remove it and try switch cleaner first
