For instance, if you have an MS42 you can not put an MS43 computer in it.

Also, intake boots are good, diaphragm in oil separator is good as it doesn't shake when I pull the oil fill cap off. Can't tell if the miscellaneous hoses or dipstick tube hose are in disrepair...

You are going to have to switch a lot more than just the engine harness. The MS42 computer is COMPLETELY different than the MS41.1. Unless you get the pin out for the MS42 and MS41.1 and splice wires...

Do you mean that the starter is spinning the engine? If that is the case, the EWS may have nothing to do with this issue. If the EWS was causing the problem, there would be NO POWER to the starter.
