I used RTV on oil pan on my other car, 5 years passes and no oil leak so I imagine it should just be fine for tranny pan as well.

I think it is the small cooling fan inside the climate control unit is still on, it will shut off after while. I occasionally have that fan on after turn off the car.

I replaced all 3 stock plastic pulleys with Dayco steel pulleys and they are quite good, no problem so far.
