Tried to replace my hood shocks today and the replacements wouldn't fit. :( The holes that connect to the upper attachment are just a hair too small and it won't slide over. Had to put my old ones...

Not that I'm aware. There's the 5 torx screws that you remove and that'll take the gauge face off from the board, but the plastic back is connected through the board via plastic posts that are melted...

The part you need to remove is super easy. it's just 3 phillips head screws, open the driver side door, you pull the trim piece out and then you disconnect the connectors from the chime speaker.
