Solenoid is at the base of the lever inside the car. The rest is now easy. I would bet it involves TORX screws though.

New foam pre-shaped is available. Any good shop should be able to help you. AFAIK all seats are the same. Buying S/H could just mean acquiring others problems.

By-pass the heater water flow control valves. If you have no heat then the problem is some where in the heater box. If you get heat then it is the valve.

Replace the damaged part with a section fitted like brake line joints. Any good shop should be able to help - check out compressed air fittings too. I also depends where the hole is as to the best...

I only undid the bolt on the seat. I did not remove the reel part. The fully extended belt was then trapped flat in the closed door. Keep the free end low. I dried mine in the sun over the roof....

I knew mine were grubby so I soaked the both sides with a 40% solution of Simple Green.
That really brought the dirt out! :jawdrop:
Then I Karchered them both sides an let them dry in the sun. :)...

There is no check valve. If the m/cyl is original it is probably choked with debris. Rebuild is simple. It may need a sleeve to get rid of bore damage.
