This is close the what I did for testing mine....

This is close the what I did for testing mine. However my sub was shot, so replaced it with a similar sized one. Very few dual voice coil (DVC) ones out there...so this repair is very much worth it.

Use a bit of a lever (plastic) to lift the cable from under the black plastic where you see the cable under (circle A)....

Based on what you posted, the light issue may be directly related to a weak battery. Mine did that...swapped for new battery...fixed it perfectly. Also, the weak battery may also cause the ODB2 port...

Those are Style 200 wheels for the Z4..... you should get at least $100-300 for the set (with tires). If I was closer I'd take them off your hands...but shipping would kill this deal.
