Loudness of the engine on the diesel? I would imagine the turbo 4 will be higher up in the RPM band and louder while cruising at say, 60MPH and up, while the diesel will seem like it is idling...

Actually, the charger was only drawing approximately 14 to 18 AMPS during the upgrade process, so you wouldn't need a 50A charger in my opinion.
