Yeah no problem. I hope you didn't pay the shop anything for the diagnosis of the timing is off.. It has electronic ignition and would still show spark even if the timing was off.

You should probably go ahead and invest $20 for the USB OBDII INPA...

Did you remove the connector from the airbag module? If so you will probably need to have the airbag system time re sync and the faults cleared using a BMW scanner, INPA, ISTA, etc.

If you scanned it with INPA you should have had at least 1 code stored. I would re scan the entire car and see which module the error is stored in. Most likely the ABS module is not working correctly
