Ha! I read that Craigslist ad and ignored it because (1) it didn't have a phone number (2) I had just put money out for my 540i. Congrats on the purchase. Let me know what parts you need and prices....

This car was posted on eBay about 2 weeks ago and the bid ended between $6500 and $7200. $3500 is not bad. That's below the trade in value regardless how rich or poor the condition.

Well I came across a deal I couldn't refuse. And the outcome was a fast ride home and new tie rods as the first DIY job and newer wheels to make her stand out.

Thanks for the encouragement. LOL! Well the light went out. Maybe it was the gas cap. I filled up Sunday night and later that night the light went out. Shweew!!

Your being BS'd. These cars use different color wiring. I found some good info on E38.org I actaully replaced my entire stereo system tapping into the factory amp wiring harness. Good Luck!
