Did it come from inside your transmission fluid pan or just near it? I would assume it's your air conditioning condensation line draining.

Have you cleaned the idle control valve? It's below the DISA. Looks like a silver cylinder. It needs to be cleaned periodically due to carbon build up.

I hated doing that job. I almost traded the x3 in for a Subaru Forrester because I didn't want to change the evaporator. In the end, I'm glad I kept the x3. Evaporator is still running nice and cold...
