I had some of the same issues (failure to start, CEL, rough idling, etc) on my 08 and replaced the IVM and they went away as well. I didn't bother to take the old one...

Thanks Herb, that's exactly where it is. Looks like a line filter on the vent tube encapsulated by a huge chunk of foam fairly close to the throttle body.
