I wouldn't be changing tie rod ends, front control arms, control arm bushings, fan clutches, and the like, simply due to age, as these are easy to check on the car.

If I were doing that cooling...

In all seriousness, mileage and age would matter. a 98 with 50K miles needs a lot less than a 205K mile 93...

Replaced Cam/Crank Sensors

While I was there I replaced
ICV (good known clean unit... did make a difference in idle)
IM gaskets...

Electric Oil Pressure Gauge Install (Not what you think)

So I have my intake off for unrelated repair work on my 93 325i. I see people who do electric oil pressure gauges either do something like this..
off the upper banjo bolt on the VANOS line

I have $250 worth of preformed heater hoses on the way already. Stupid "H" hose is $70 alone. I also have some ghetto (cheap) Sunpro gauges on the way, may as well set them up now.
