Well the point is to see what happens. If the lifters lose more oil at high rpm, then reducing the choke point should help with that. Since I can't find any data on the scenario, I figure it's a...

I have a spare set of lifters I'd like to play with a bit. Supposedly the plunger/spring/valve can be tapped out on a block of wood. I'm having trouble making that work though. I will try...

The m54b30 is supposed to have an ~84mm dia piston with a 28.32mm compression height.

This should produce a 9.51:1 SCR in a m52b28. If it's a m52b25, those same pistons should produce a n 8.73:1...

Compression height is the distance from the center of the wrist pin, to the top of the piston. Total length of pin is the length of the wrist pin. I suspect that GL total length is the total piston...

The evos use dual cam phasing to reduce or remove overlap at idle. I don't remember the Evo cam specs offhand, but the phasing is 20ish degrees on the exhaust side, and 30-40 on the intake side...

I'm making a bracket to adapt to one of those little craftsman jacks since I had a spare. It should lift the whole rear end into place easily if I get the balance point right. I'll have to finish...

I've heard all sorts of things about the m50. I'm not entirely sure what to believe.

So given all the ground we have covered so far in this thread, it's reasonable to look at the horror stories associated with belts on the M40. Is it a faulty tensioner, jumped teeth, or belt...

Looks like the stock SCR is 8.8:1. If the pistons & rods are upgraded, it might not grenade. I'm not sure if the crank is forged.

ECR on the M40 @ 20 psi would be 20.77. The evox runs a 22.47...
