Well my 2011 X5 50i has been in the shop for a week and although mine is supposedly not suffering from the timing chain issue, they still don't have the parts to complete the campaign.

Anyone else...

N63 Recall

Dropped my X5 off this morning for the recall and didn't get the warmest, fuzziest feeling.

"Customer Care Package" for 2011 X5 50i

Slipping clutch

I'm not totally familiar with the clutch on that era 6-series, but a slipping clutch should have nothing to do with re-building the gearbox.

Did the mechanic by chance say slipping "synchros"?...

I've got Brittalman exhaust in a convertible. Works fine but important caveat.

I got mine off eBay for $499 + 200 also. If it's the same guy, he was great. Shipped quick in nice boxes to protect all the components. The ENTIRE system is fully polished and came with all the...
