The diamond button activates the headlamps if you press it briefly or hold it down if you want the siren to activate

I don't have Good Years, but had the Pirelli all seasons...

If you're going to stick with the X3 for a while, get purpose-fit tires for it. the Lexus tires will be taller than the X3 and will impact handling and the odometer.

Fronts outlast rears because the rears are smaller and used for winter traction purposes + rear bias. Using rear brakes more will keep the X3 from nosediving.

It's typically sitting at 50%-ish I don't stick around to see at what point the LEDs start moving. but our X3 is primarily a city car with 15kms to the daily commute each way and twice a month...

I'd say loss of use compensation plus extended warranty. + 2 years is not bad in my book. My X3 engine has been good so far so I can't see any reason to believe anything other than your problem...

I get two. A snap when the engine shuts off.. and on start ups on cold days, a loud "crack" when the valves whack open. Never had a driveability or power issue though.
