Not sure what you are looking for, but EuroMotorworks up on 90th Street was great to me when I lived there. They only worked on my e30, but were meticulous. Probably not the cheapest option but...

If you want to modify things, focus on the suspension (shocks, springs, anti-roll bars) and brakes - the "i" chips don't make that much of a difference but you can really tighten up the handling on...
