You don't actually have to go to the Renntech or Evolve dealer, you can take the ECU out and send it to them. You'll get it back in a few days.

I went the Evolve ecu flash route. Works great. Wagner makes a bigger intercooler. M3 suspension parts fit. There is a DPF delete (uncorks the exhaust) thread.

The 335d is rated 23 mpg city, whereas the 335i is rated 19 mpg, The 535d is rated 6 mpg better (26 mpg) than the 535i in the city loop. So the ds aren't a bad choice, just not as good as a hybrid....

I notice a typo in the curb weight in the specifications of the review. It should be about 4000 lbs, not 5300 lbs. Not much heavier than the E90 335d.
