The signal reciver is behind the cover of the C piller. Just pull the cover off, there are 2 one on each side, they are for the radio antena and ews signal and the back window heater.

It is a 520 base model, does it have remote locking or was that a option your car does not have? In the build sheet it is an option on eruo models and not like US models where it is a givine.

It looks like you have a misfire on one or more cylindes. It could be a bad plug, ignition coil or something you did when you changed the oil like nocking some vacum lines or the britle plastic tube...

No heat when you stop means the aux heater pump is not working, so when you stop not enough hot water go through the heater core. The pump is right under the heater valves just below the climet...

Your short trips are the main reasone. The only way is to know your long trip MPG. If that is in good order then you know why, if not you start digin in the engine.
