The I6 runs at 95 deg C, IIRC.

There are five motors in the ducting that move flaps to direct air flow. You'll need some kind of BMW-specific scan tool to exercise them to see which ones are jammed/not working.

Items 1 and 3, the dealer is the best source. Many aftermarket FSU sources tend to be unreliable.

Make sure the replacement has 39 spikes on the heat sink.
