I'll post a somewhat detailed but perhaps contrarian response also. I just picked up my 2015 X5d last week. I also have an X3 with the N55, so I'm fairly familiar with the N55 vs N57 (or 35i vs...

I love the inline 6 and would only get the 35i. I do not like the 4 cylinder feel of a 28i. That said, the 28i is much quieter (the 35i has excessive exhaust noise) and the 28i has sufficient...

I'm pretty sure an additional cooler is not required. The funny thing is, while in North America we have a 3500 lb towing capacity, the exact same vehicle in europe has a 2400 kg (5280 lb) towing...

Sorry I should be more specific. I have a wind whistle in my driver's side door on the highway. None on the passenger side so I know it's not normal. The funny part is everything looks tight.

I can offer some input. I bought a CPO loaded 2011 X3 35i MSport in the Boston area. We paid ~$42K all in one year ago. It had 18K miles. I didn't think it was a great deal - but it was the EXACT...

I've been really impressed with our 2011 35i fuel mileage. It now has 24,000 miles and has averaged ~22.5 USMPG (10.5 l/100km) since new. I got 29 USMPG (8.2 l/100 km) on a recent 1000 mile road...
