I bought those same style wheels w/o rash, including the tires with < 1kmiles, for $400 total, a year ago. The seller was asking $800. It's a function of the marketplace.

Gear selector seal (the real culprit) and output shaft seal (leaking to a lesser degree) replaced. Twenty bucks for parts, $360 for labor. Now to crawl under and examine the flex disk.

The dealer battery should be under full replacement warranty for two years from purchase. Yank battery, take it to dealer (or autoparts store for free test) and get a fresh new one. Then go to work.
