Thank you Nick! Good enough for me. I know something about the DISA valve re-direct the intake air funnel at a certain RPM but never knew you can mess with the ECU for that too. Good to know.

I'm glad to hear your mileage went up drastically. But, what bothers me is I still don't understand how your mechanic can balance your 530 intake. I've never heard of such procedure in my 13 years...

The main reason why some of us went with catch can or conventional PCV is to help reduce oil consumption.
Yours is an M52tu, M52tu is not known for that, so what you did is good.

If it was both banks then I would think you have a common problem with vacuum but since it's only cylinders 4-6 means your bank2. I'd check your O2s voltage readings, especially bank2 pre-cat O2.
