Correct, that goes to the heat exchanger for automatic transmission. On manual transmission cars, that is substituted by that pipe going from water pump to the reservoir ONLY.

Its plasti dip... if he gets bored of it, he can peel it off. Usually when ppl plasti dip the rims, they either do bright yellow/green and polish the lip
