Radiator nipple failure

I am on my second go round with nipple failure. I replaced my original BMW rad several years ago due to the normal radical failure after about 10 years and replaced it with an aftermarket BEHR "OEM"...

97k miles. Full manual flush and filter change at 62K and 92K mi.

I actually dumped the fluid at 62k miles changed the filter, then dumped and pumped out the fluid and changed the filter again after 1000 miles. Recently just dumped, pumped and changed filter again...

trailer hitch

BMW has a hitch for the Touring. However, you really can't pull allot with it as the car's chassis wasn't designed for that (mounting a hitch)...and the cost is high for what you get. Get a truck.

Polish them

Using a random orbital polisher and an "orange" foam pad, polish it out with swirl remover or "light cut" polish to make the plastic lens clear up. If it is actually cracked, replace with BMW parts.
