The BMW leatherette is excellent, but keep in mind that it does absorb a lot of heat in warm weather. It takes a long time for the AC to cool the seats down. It's like sitting in a heated seat....

I doubt this has to do with starting in 2nd. It's the fact that you put the shifter into the sport mode. That alone improves the lag greatly.

I just dropped the car off at the dealer to have them reprogram ASS to remember the last setting instead of defaulting to on every time you restart the car. A lot of X1 owners have already done this....

X3's are built in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Chennai, India. So I guess your own X3 is also shxxxxt. No X3's are built in Germany. Meanwhile our US bound X1's are all built in Germany.:lmao:

The ride is definitely on the firm side on the M-Sport. You'll feel every expansion joint and ever reflector. You have to test drive one to see if that's acceptable to you or not. It kind of sucks...
