FYI,

These 2 hoses are not "ABS hoses". They simply connect to the rear hydraulic system x2.

BTW, replace all 6 hoses.

Today, I was replacing the serpentine and AC belts on my car (1998 528i with 150K).

While there, I spun the AC Pulley and it free wheeled, as expected at 150K miles.

Then monitor oil leak, at 115K+, unlikely to leak from oil pan gasket.
Many mfg's use liquid gasket (Volvo, Honda), so I think liquid gasket should work on BMW too.
