Interesting! That would indicate the DME is looking at both the primary speed sensor in the diff and the tranny speed sensor for cruise control. That's the only explanation I can come up with........

BMW seems to feel the same way. The Z4 has a pretty quick steering rack, and when you turn on sport mode, power steering boost is reduced noticeably to reduce the twitchiness at high speeds.
