Check your belts. Either they've slipped off or broken off...sometimes due to tensioner assembly bolts shearing off, causing the the tensioner to fall off and cause all kinds of problems.

I can understand the skepticism but to think proprietary additives of different gas brands are exactly the same or gives the same exact results is pretty naive to say the least.

I agree. Still for the gas gauge to mess up a couple of miles after the Techron treatment makes me wonder if it was at least partially to blame.

As for the Techron, it was the one that started my gas gauge problem. Tank would only read half full on full tank fillup. Funny thing is I tried...
