It just pops out, make sure to take it out evenly. Most likely the assembly has separated a little bit, if you have the same symptoms as me.

Solution: backing to memory seat selector assembly was popped out slightly, causing the M button to not depress properly. Unfortunately I didn't find this until I bought a new one.

SOLUTION: poor conductivity on washer provided...

SOLUTION: poor conductivity on washer provided with duralast alternator. Took washer out and connected directly too pole retaining nut on alternator. Solid 14 volts or higher. Light pulsing is gone.
